Welcome to the Baltic Network for Adult Learning

The BNAL is a network of organisations involved in adult learning and non formal liberal and voluntary education in the Baltic Sea region. Examples of organisations are “Folk High Schools” and “Adult Educational Associations”.

Our members come from the following countries:
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the autonomous Åland Islands.

The BNAL network's overall aim is to be a platform for exchange of experiences and development of common educational programmes. It should be the natural meeting point for all organisations and as well as individuals with interest and knowledge about adult learning in the Baltic Sea region. An important objective is to support the development of adult learning in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and in Poland.
